The Jewel Lanka 2013 Exhibition organized by the Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka opened at the BMICH today.
The opening of the Exhibition took place under the auspices of Minister Susil Premajayantha. The Exhibition which is an annual event, is being held for the sixth occasion. Many competitions related to the gem sector are included in the exhibition. Among those present at the opening ceremony were Chairman of the Gem and Jewellery Authority and Chairman of the Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka Daya Sagara. The Exhibition will draw to an end on Sunday. The Minister also awarded diploma certificates to gemologists.
