Slap from actress to film director ....who made sexual advances
These days certain tele-actresses and film actresses of Sri Lanka say that in order to enter the field of acting, they have to gave a sex-bribe to directors. All sorts of disturbances take place during acting is reported. Most of those who face such consequences keep their mouth shut while some others go forward to expose all this to the media not caring a damn for their self-respect; but being unable to prove such incidents .... such matters go under the carpet. But a quaint incident is reported from India about an actress who went against such a culprit.
Subash Kapoor who had directed a number of Hindi films including 'Jolly LLB' has now been confronted with a mishap .... having committed such an offence.
When Geethika Thiyagi, a Bollywood actress was involved in acting a scene had rejected the advances of this director who tried to commit a sexual offence, ultimately left the sets.
However, she did not go away altogether as such. What she did was invade the shooting location bringing her boy-friend where the director's wife too was present and inquired in public about this issue. She had even surreptiously brought a person to shoot this incident in secret.
He had on that occasion admitted guilt of having made a suggestion of a sexual nature .... twisting in embarassment.
