100 days ends today : President to address nation tonight
The promise given in the presidential election manifesto to complete targets in 100 days ends today.The 100 days accelerated program promised to the public has been completed to the best of the ability of the new government formed.
Whilst some were successfully completed some other promises have not been fulfilled for the people. On this subject and the rest of the promises not fulfilled would be briefed by the president Maithripala Sirisena tonight at 9.00 p.m over the electronic media. He would explain how the promises not fulfilled would be made in the future. This was made known by the president’s media unit.
It has also been informed that next week after the amendments to the 19 and 20 are passed in parliament after a debate the government would be dissolved.
