The former president Mahinda Rajapaksa had been questioned by the media when he participated in a
ceremony in Gampaha on the return of the former Minister of economic development Basil Rajapaksa.They were surprised as his reply was “did he come, I am not aware’.The former president Mahinda Rajapaksa had quipped that Basil did his politics in Gampaha and did my politics elsewhere.
