Mattress factory in Bandaragama destroyed by fire
A mattress factory in Bandaragama had caught
fire and had been completely destroyed. As it was a Sunday yesterday the 14th instant the factory had been closed.The fire had started suddenly and had spread over the entire factory by late evening. The fire brigade had arrived to extinguish the fire but by the time the fire had destroyed the entire mattress factory had been burnt.
Because of the fire there had been a traffic congestion in the surrounding area.
