SUMATHI TELE AWARDS 2015 BEST -- THISURI - JANAK / MOST POPULAR -- KAVINGA - SHALANI
Thisuri Yuvanika (Sulanga matha mohothak) clinched the award for the Best Actress while Janak Premalal (Girikula) was awarded the Best Actor Award at the 2015 Anchor Sumathi Tele Awards held yesterday at the Nelum Pokuna Stadium. According to Readers' Preference the Most Popular Actress Award was claimed by Salani Tharaka and the Most Popular Actor was chosen as Kavinga Perera. The teledrama 'Girikula' was awarded as the Best Teledrama and the Best Director Award was won by Ananda Abeynaika (Chess). 'Uthum Pethum' was chosen as the Most Popular Teledrama and the Best Supporting Actor was won by Mahendra Perera while the Best Supporting Actress was claimed by Nilmini Tennakoon.
