Sarath Amunugama joins the government from the Mahinda faction to become a cabinet Minister
Dr Sarath Amunugama who was hitherto a Member of Parliament only from the Mahinda faction had represented the opposition,has been sworn in by the President Maithripala Sirisena as a cabinet Minister with the cabinet Ministerial portfolio of "special issues" it is reported.
