Saturday holiday for private sector employees, Salary increase of Rs 2500/-
In the budget speech made by the Minister of finance RaviKarunanayake ,has requested the private sector not to work on
Saturdays in order to get the maximum output from employees by working five days for a week.The Minister also has requested the employers in the private sector to attempt to increase the salaries by a sum of rupees two thousand five hundred if they had not done it earlier.
