As garbage has not been removed Palitha Thevarapperuma takes mamotie to hand
It is reported that for 06 weeks garbage had not been removed from the Palinda Nuwara area in the Kalutara district.In this area and in the surrounding Badureliya,Lathpandura and Bellana
areas too the garbage had not been removed causing inconvenience to people living in those areas.When the Member of Parliament of Kalutara district had learnt about the inconvenience caused to the people in the Palinda Nuwara pradeshiya sabha area PalithaThervarapperuma had initiated steps to bring redress to the people of the area. As a result the area which emanated a horrible stench was brought back to normal.
The member of Parliament Palitha Thevarapperuma had quipped that the administration activities of the members of the Palinda Nuwara pradeshiya sabha are at a low ebb and it was the cause for this lapse.
