Devananda,Thondaman and Marapona to get ministerial portfolios
It is reported from reliable government sources that in the scheduled cabinet reshuffle due shortly Douglas Devananda, Arumugam Thondaman and Tilak Marapona are to be offered ministerial
portfolios.It is also reported that the former Minister Tilak Marapona who resigned from his ministerial portfolio is also to be given a ministerial post. In his case after the amendment to the constitution that is in the offing he is to given a new ministerial portfolio.
It is also reported that three members of the joint opposition are to be appointed as state ministers and one as a deputy minister. They are it is learnt are from Galle and Badulla districts.
It is also reported that four ministers who are holding top ministries are to be reshuffled. Having known this the four ministers have requested the government that they be given powerful ministries as what they had held.
