ITN gets a modern HD studio
The first fully fledged complete HD Studio at a television institution was opened by the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe yesterday morning at the Independent Television Network premises.
The modern fully fledged HD studio has been put up at a cost of rupees 600 million. The entire expense has been spent from the earnings of the ITN itself.It had been said that only half of the funds in the ITN had been utilized and there had been no necessity to borrow from the
government or from any other source.This new HD studio has a very high quality standard and any type of programme could be recorded it is reported.
The first programme had been recorded with the participation of reputed media personnel Chandana Tillekeratne with the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe.
Until now no television network has this new digital HD facility and in future with the latest digital technology programmes would be telecast.
