Even after completion of investigations Shiranthi is not arrested owing to a deal -- Anura Kumara
At a media briefing held yesterday the leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Anura Kumara Dissanayake had said that despite all investigations pertaining to corruption and irregularities committed by the former first lady, Shiranthi Rajapaksa spouse of the former
President Mahinda Rajapaksa she is not arrested owing to part of a secret deal that exist between the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and and Mahinda Rajapaksa.The JVP leader had further quipped that even the investigations involving irregularities and corrupt activities of Basil Rajapaksa ,Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and other family members have not been exposed also as a part of the said secret deal.
Anura Kumara Dissanayke had also said that for keeping more than one passport by forging documents pertaining to the investigations conducted against the leader of the National Freedom Front Wimal Weerawansa also have been suppressed as a result of the secret agreement with the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe.
