The renovations to Minipe Dam are scheduled to commence on Thursday under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena. The renovations to the left bank of the Minipe Ela will commence with the aim of providing water to the farming community in Minipe. The renovations are scheduled to be effected for 74 kilometers of the Dam.
