"Atha Kota" had threatened media personnel in courts
The murder case against the killing of the estate superintendent of the Noor estate Deraniyagala was heard at the Avissawela High courts yesterday.
In regard to this murder 18 persons had been sentenced to death.Tthe first suspect hadbeen the former chairman of the Deraniyagala pradeshiya saba Anil Champika Wijesinghe alias "Atha
Kota",.It is reported that" Atha Kota" the first accused had threatened the newspaper judiciary media personnel while he was attending to his duties while inside the court premises.Atha Kota had threatened the photographers also who had come to cover the case.He had attempted to provoke them for a clash.Atha Kota had uttered as " Obata Sathutuda den" " I will deal with you all once I come back".It is reported that the media personnel had tolerated all these gimmicks.
