Providing financial assistance to the Bronze Medalist of the World Schools Chess Tournament 2016, Niklesha Tharushi took place under the patronage of Minister Thalatha Atukorala. T.S.D. Niklesha studying in grade 8 of Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo is the youngest player representing Sri Lanka Chess Team. Her father who is working overseas has met with an accident.
