Eleven people have died and five were injured in an accident today in Chavakachcheri, Jaffna. A van transporting a group of people on a trip from Colombo has collided with a SLTB bus. The bus was plying on the A-9 road to Vavuniya. The passengers of the van were from Kalutara, Millaniya and Hal-tota areas.
