It is hoped to establish a multimodal transport hub in Battaramulla, affiliated to the Suhurupaya building. It will come up under the Western Zone Megapolis plan with private public partnership. Its purpose is to minimize traffic congestion experienced with the location of all public administrative institutions in Battaramulla and its environs.
