Three wheeler protest parade in the vicinity of Nelum Pokuna junction against Rs 25000 fines
In protest against the increase for traffic fines which was raised to rupees twenty five thousand three wheeler drives had organized a rally in the vicinity of Nelum Pokuna junction today the 2nd instant
at 10 am.
The protest parade had been organized because in the event they are fined they would be imprisoned as they would not be able to pay the fines.They believe that in that sense their families would have to starve,hence they clamour to withdraw these fines.
In this regard the three wheeler association has made arrangements to forward a letter to the President.This was revealed by the secretary of the association Rohana Perera at the briefing held in Colombo on the 1st instant .
