Police has taken measures to produce the person who assaulted Daya Master, a director of Tamil TV channel operating in Jaffna, before the courts. Daya Master was attacked when he was at his office premises. The suspect was arrested with a sharp weapon. The 53 year old suspect, is a resident of Jaffna. Jaffna police
