Fresh from a team win at the Olympics, champion Severin Freund won the World Cup ski jump competition in Falun, Sweden.
There was a high level of competition, with three new hill records. Freund set two of them on his way to victory, scoring a total of 266.1 points, a lead of 15.9 points over Peter Prevc who took second place. Freund now lies in fourth position overall, 79 points behind third place. Jumps of 125.5m and 133.5m saw Peter Prevc move from tenth to second in the competition.
The World Cup competition will continue in Lahti, Finland from tomorrow.
