The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, starring Oscar-nominee Jennifer Lawrence, has eclipsed Iron Man 3 to become the highest-grossing film released at the US box office in 2013. Lionsgate Entertainment announced that the movie has grossed $ 423.6 million to date in the US, now stepping into the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time domestically. It enjoys a worldwide box office total of $ 838.2 million after seven weeks in theatres. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 are in production for release November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015, respectively.
