238 died in a explosion which occured today in a coal-mine in Soma area in Turkey. There had been 787 persons inside the mine when the explosion took place and it had been possible to rescue 363 of them from this accident. The rest had been injured.
The majority of them had not died because of the explosion, but by inhaling poisonous carbon monoxide has
which happened as a result of the explosion, foreign sources report. It was also understood that the reason for the explosion has been a fault which occured in the power supply section.
