Life Saving jackets have been provided to fishermen in Kalpitiya. The handing over of these jackets to fishermen of 86 Fisheries Organizations in Kalpitiya took place at the Norochcholai Economic Centre under the auspices of Deputy Minister Victor Anthony. The expenditure incurred on these lifesaving jackets was 1.5 million rupees.
