Etro’s latest collection was a tribute to Italy’s excellence in food and fashion. The spring/summer 2015 show, which took place yesterday saw prints packed with pieces of dancing pasta and piles of raw crustaceans, with digital photographs of vegetables, lasagne and ‘risotto alla Milanese” coating a colorful collection. The show opened with white jackets impeccably crafted from an unusual organic material – bamboo, hemp, nettle and even milk. These unorthodox woven natural fibers created a biodiversity of textile and fabrics.
