The funeral of S.D. Bandaranayake will be held at the Chandrajothi Maha Vidyalaya in Yakkala tomorrow afternoon.
The remains of S.D. Bandaranayake are lying at his residence at Madugas Walauwa in Yakkala. Our correspondent said that among the large gathering paying their last respects included many Parliamentarians.
Issuing a message of condolence, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party said that S.D. Bandaranaike’s name will be written in golden letters in history among the past active leaders who represented the Party. In this condolence message General Secretary of the Party and Minister Maithripala Sirisena said that S.D. Bandaranayake is one factor which confirms that greats within the world are very rare.
