Many development projects are being implemented within the Uva Province, while mobile services are being successfully organized to address issues of the people.
A community-centred health development programme was held at the Kalubululanda Maha Vidyalaya in parallel to the Village to Village and House to House Community Mobile Service Programme. It was organized by the Welimada MOH Office on the instructions of the Badulla Regional Health Services Director’s Office.
Free Medical Clinics were held and treatment provided for the residents of the area. Many Eye and Dental Clinics were held. A large gathering patronized in these programmes.
