Gotabhaya is being harassed because the LTTE wants - Bandula

Commemmorating 100 Day with this - Dallas

A short while prior to this, Gotabhaya appeared before the Bribery Commission. A large crowd

has gathered today in front of the Bribery Commission for the protest organised by a crowd headed by Udaya Gammanpila to voice their protest today against the Bribery Commission. On that occasion Minister Bandula and former Minister Dallas arrived there and were making the speech with the aid of a megaphone.

Minister Bandula said that Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is being harassed because the LTTE diaspora and Western powers and made a request to stop hunting national heroes who rescued the country.

What former Minister Dallas said was that in order to commemorate the 100 Day, the minority government is trying to get hold of the hero Gotabhaya and that this maltreatment is being launched at a time when 116 members of parliament had signed a petition against the chief of the Bribery Commission. Though the police have employed strict guard after obtaining a court order against this protest, it had not come to an end with traffic along Bauddhaloka Mawatha coming to a halt because of the protestors, resulting in a congestion of traffic around Colombo, it was reported.
