A crowd of about a hundred Gampaha supporters
had assembled last night in front of Kaduwela Magistrate Court. The former Minister, Basil Rajapaksa waved at that crowd and greeted them when he was going to Welikada after finishing the court matters. On that occasion the crowd who had shouted 'Ape emathithumata jayawewa' ran behind the bus as if to touch it just as much as a child would lament for losing something which belongs to him. After the bus left from there overcoming their speed the crowd once more returned in anger in front of the courts and had begun yelling in not too decent language saying, "Thopita hena gahanna one me karapu aparadeta ... ape emathithumata mehema deyak umbalata karanna puluwanda?" Among those who screamed in this manner were females too.
