An amnesty period has been declared for the handing over of illegal firearms to the government. It is effective from April 25th to May 05th. The Defence Ministry has granted an amnesty to those in the possession of unlicensed weapons, to surrender these weapons, with the deadline for the amnesty set for May 05th. The
