Deputy Chairman of Pradeshiya Saba who had shown “blue photos” via his phone to students who came to library caught
A former Vice Chairman of Pradeshiya Saba in Badalkumbura who had shown blue photos to two Grade 11 students of a Badalkumbura school who came to the library in the Badalkumbura police division area via his mobile phone has been arrested by the Badalkumbura police.
The raid had been conducted by the Officer in Charge of the crimes division Sub Inspector of Police
Deshapriya and his team.The same day the former Vice Chairman of the Badalkumbura Pradeshiya Saba had been produced before the Moneragala Magistrate. On the instructions of the Magistrate Sampath N Gamage he has been arrested until the 10th of this month.
In this regard the deputy Inspector General of Police Uva Province Sarath Kumara has advised the Senior Superintendent of Police of Moneragala district Anura Mapalagama,Superintendent of Police RM Thilakeratne and acting Officer in Charge of the Badalkumbura police station Sub Inspector of Police Jayaweera and the team are conducting investigations.
