Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake has assured that VAT will not be levied from businessmen whose daily turnover is less than 33,000 rupees. The Minister gave this assurance at a news briefing held at the Finance Ministry. The Minister said that a persons who has a turnover of 33,000 rupees per day or one million rupees
