Model Piyumi Hansamali who has become a social network character was not fortunate in finding a winning place in the Married Beauty Queen Contest held in Sri Lanka and for that reason she had got down from the stage in public and had gone away, which scene became the talk of the town. Soon after that she had applied for Miss and Mrs Nobel Queen
Contest which was held in Malaysia thus representing Sri Lanka.

It was only 19 contestants in all who appeared for contests of both the Married and Unmarried final round held in Kuala Lumpur last 21st.  There had been 11 contestants in the unmarried category while 8 contestants were present in the Married category. The Miss and Mrs crowns were awarded with all contestants appearing on stage together. Out of the 8 contestants who appeared for the Married crown, 4 were Malaysians while the rest comprised those from Japan, Mongolia, the Philippines with Piyumi representing Sri Lanka. On this occasion of the 8 Married contestants Piyumi Hansamali was placed the last, the 8th position. She has been satisfied with the judgement this time and she had even made her remarks about it by sending a message to Facebook.
