Fire at Fashion Bug owing to electrical short circuit
The other day a fire was reported from a famous garment store of a popular ready made garments institution, the Fashion Bug in the Pepiliyana area.The fire had caused a damage to the tune of rupees two hundred million.
The police investigations had been conducted to ascertain the cause of the fire.It has been
revealed that it had not been a sabotage or an act of arson but owing to the defect in the electricity circuit.The police has received sufficient evidence to say so.Investigations have been conducted by the officials of the Nugegoda, Boralesgamuwa and Colombo criminal investigations units.It has been revealed that ready made garments that were stacked in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building had been completely burnt.
Earlier on a occasion certain extremists groups had attempted to harm this store of Fashion Bug.The police had refuted the charge that this had been the work of the extremists.
