The 3rd reading of the 70th Budget of Independent Sri Lanka was passed with a majority of 110 votes in Parliament yesterday. The Budget is considered to have laid the foundation for a major development of the country while giving many benefits to the public. Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayaka presented the budget proposals in Parliament.
