Parliamentarian Buddhika Pathirana had recently raised a query in Parliament on the valuation of a land in the Thihagoda area in the extension of the Southern Expressway. Minister Ravi Karunanayake responded to this query. The Minister said that the extent of the land mentioned was 0.4 perches. The compensation given was 500 rupees. 22 persons
