Several Special Projects will be implemented on behalf of the tea smallholders in the Up Country Zone. Accordingly 200 rural approach roads in affiliation to the smallholdings in the Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Matale Districts will be reconstructed. A Green House Pilot project will also be launched to enable them to gain an additional income.
