Police were on the search for the suspected proposed marriage-partner who murdered the 26 year old girl Tharindi Aloka by using a pointed instrument last 22nd in a three-storied house in Kottawa and finally he had surrendered to police. News reports were published to the effect that the suspect has had a lover on the sly and the deceased girl on coming to know about it had proceeded to notify her about him after which both parties had desolated him which led to this boy committing this crime. Information revealed that this person who had enteredhadd hid in the house where the victim was and in a clandestine manner the previous night of the macabre incident and then had approached her the following day at a time she was alone in the house,finally killing her. The suspect after being produced before Homagama Court was ordered to be remanded till the 4th of next month.
