Indian newspapers refrain from reporting Cricket bottle-incident

None of the leading newspapers of India have today (28) reported the ugly incident of Sri Lankan spectators throwing bottles thus disturbing proceedings of the Cricket match played yesterday at Pallekele grounds.

The Hindu, Times of India, Deccan Chronicle ... all leading newspapers have not commented on this

incident and had focused attention only on India's victory, praising them. Some newspapers have reported that anticipated challenges were not forthcoming from Akila Dananjaya. Whatever it is, only the Daily News Alert newspaper published in India had described the annoying incident in just a few sentences. However, no photos were published.
