The European Space Agency launched its latest environment observation satellite on Wednesday aboard a converted Russian missile.The Sentinel 3B environmental monitoring satellite will observe Earth’s oceans, lakes and vegetation.The modified Russian ballistic missile, originally built to carry nuclear warheads, lifted off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome launchpad about 500 miles north of Moscow.
