The Government has launched several programmes to improve living conditions of rehabilitated LTTE Cadres in the North and East. The programmes are implemented by the Ministry of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs. Plans have been drawn up to provide self-employment equipment to the value of 30 million rupees to rehabilitated LTTE members.
