Another Dunhinda Falls with a height of more than 75 feet has been discovered. No authorized person is reported have come across this Water Fall.
A Water Fall with a height of more than 75 feet has been discovered from Menik Gangain the Raththaran-kivula Ara area within the Badalkumbura Divisional Secretariat Division. The people of the area call it the Dunhind Falls as it is located akin to the Dunhinda Falls. About four kilometers have to be traversed from Badalkumbura and proceed further one kilometer along the Paraiyan Ella by-road to reach the Falls within the thick forest.
Residents claim that the Water Fall is created with the fall of a stream of water of the Menik Ganga from the Raththaran-kivula Ara mountain. The site, where the water fall is said to be about 100 feet deep.
Not a single authority has diverted attention to this water fall although a handful of the residents are ware of it. Several tunnel waterways and steps turned out rock are found when traversing to the site. There are also several tourist attractions. Reaching the water fall is difficult as many dangerous areas are rife.
