Vanuatu has called for Sri Lanka’s assistance in making arrangements for the CHOGM in 2017.
Prime Minister of Vanu-atu Moana Car-ca-sses Kalo-sil has sought assistance when he met with President Mahinda Rajapaksa Waters Edge hotel in Battaramulla. He congratulated President Mahinda Rajapaksa for the success of the Commonwealth conference and called on the President to share the experience with his country to make the CHOGM-2017 a success. The President informed that he was prepared to do so. The Vanuatu Prime Minister said that he considers Sri Lanka as his own country. He observed that Sri Lankans are smiling and hospitable people similar to his own people. Vanuatu has been listed for the second time as the country with the happiest people.
