SLFP peoples’ representatives have taken the lead to assure the victory in the Western Province. Kalutara SLFP representatives meeting was held under the patronage of Minister Basil Rajapaksa. More than 2000 party activists attended the meeting held at the Kalutara South SLFP office. The SLFP meeting of Borella seat took place at the party office of the Parliamentarian Thilanga Sumathipala. A group of people including senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzi, Ministers Basil Rajapaka, Susil Premajayantha, Wimal Weerawansa, Parliamentarian Prabha Ganeshan and Wayamba Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera were present on the occasion. Dehiwala SLFP meeting took place at S. de S. Jayasinghe ground. Many peoples representative including Ministers Basil Rajapaksa, Maithreepala Sirisena, Wimal Weerawansa and Deputy Minister Mohan Lal Grero attended the meeting.
