Sanitary facilities at the Nilwala National College of Education will be enhanced with the mediation of the President.
President Rajapaksa during a recent tour of the Kamburupitiya area in Matara was briefed on the issues confronted by the students of the Nilwala College of Education with regard to sanitary facilities.
Giving an ear to the problems faced by the students the President issued instructions to the relevant officials to make immediate inquiries into these issues and address them. The students are confronting many problems particularly due to lack of drinking water and their inability to use toilets. Deputy Minister Mohanlal Grero recently visited the College of Education and examined the activities there. He thereafter issued instructions to the officials to commence the related development activities.
