Air Force Commander Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrema who is due to end his term of office called on President Rajapaksa. The President who had a cordial discussion with him also presented him with a memento.
Deputy Minister Mohanlal Grero has been appointed as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Co-Organizer of the Ratmalana electorate. The President handed over his letter of appointment. Minister Dulles Alahapperuma and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Chief Organizer of Ratmalana Chandana Kathriarachchi were present on the occasion.
In the meantime Sisira Jayawilal Abrew took oaths before the President as the Acting Appeals Court President. Acting President’s Secretary and Presidential Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath was present.
