The Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka has emphasized that those who are making various accusations against Sri Lanka should visit the North and see to themselves the peace dividends enjoyed by the Northern civilians after the end of the conflict.
He lauded the peace dividends enjoyed these civilians after the end of the 30-year old conflict and the services mooted by the Sri Lankan Government to rebuild the North.
Japan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Nobuhitho Hobo pledged full support of the Japanese Government for education, health and the upgrading of livelihoods in the North. The Japanese Ambassador made these references during a meeting with Northern Governor G.A. Chandrasiri in Jaffna this morning.
Expressing his satisfaction over the present situation prevailing in the North, the Japanese diplomat said that his government is always prepared to support Sri Lanka.
