In a media release, Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed that the World Cup winning National Coach Paul Farbrace has tendered his resignation.
The release also stated that in his resignation Farbrace has informed the SLC of his unavailability to continue with SLC. The resignation will take immediate effect in order to allow Farbrace to take up an appointment with the ECB. The release confirmed rumors reported by British news outlets last week about a possible move to England as assistant to the new England coach, Peter Moore.
