Two Bangladeshi warships have arrived at the Colombo Harbour. The Ali Haider and Nirmul war ships arrived at the Colombo Port on a goodwill visit. A warm welcome was accorded by the Sri Lanka Navy.
Commanding Officers, Captain Mohammad Anwar and Commander Tanzim Faruq paid a courtesy call on Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Western Naval Command Headquarters in Colombo.
They also exchanged mementoes. The visiting ships will stay in Sri Lanka until 18th May and the crew is scheduled to participate in several programs organized by the Sri Lanka Navy to enhance the friendly relations between the two navies.
