The crafting of the Colombo Declaration which will facilitate a process that strengthens effective youth participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation of post -2015 development agenda, has entered the final phase.
The formulation of the Colombo Declaration was slated to end today under the guidance of Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr. Palitha Kohona.
It is reported that this is to be handed over to President Rajapaksa tomorrow.
Meanwhile, youth delegates participating in the Conference has succeeded in promoting cooperation among young men and women internationally.
The delegates have lauded the unstinted support given by the Sri Lankan Government in this respect.
