The May Day procession of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna commenced from the Public Grounds in Dehiwela.
The procession which began from the Public grounds under the patronage of JVP Leader and Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake reached the BRC Grounds at Havelock Town via Kalubowila Hospital Road, Saranankara Road, Pamakanda Road, Kirulapone Junctions and High Level Road.. Thereafter the rally commenced.
